Taxonomy
Fusus arnoldi was named by Cossmann (1903). It is extant.

It was recombined as Barbarofusus arnoldi by Woodring and Bramlette (1950); it was recombined as Fusinus arnoldi by Marincovich (1976); it was recombined as Harfordia arnoldi by Hendy (2021).

Synonyms
  • Fusus rugosus was named by Trask (1855). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grignon (Lamarck collection), which is in a Lutetian open shallow subtidal sandstone/sandstone in France.

    It was replaced with Fusus arnoldi by Cossmann (1903); it was recombined as Fusinus rugosus by Moody (1916).
