Taxonomy
Cacops woehri was named by Froebisch and Reisz (2012). Its type specimen is OMNH 73216, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Richards Spur, which is in an Artinskian fissure fill claystone/conglomerate in Oklahoma.
