Taxonomy
Gonioclymenia corpulenta was named by Bogoslovsky (1981). Its type specimen is PIN 2688/213, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kiya River source (lower Kalloclymenia-Wocklumeria zone), which is in a Famennian carbonate limestone in Kazakhstan.
