Taxonomy
Chieseiceras perticaense was named by Brack and Rieber (1986). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pertica Bassa, 1.45 m above the Chiesense groove, which is in a Fassanian carbonate limestone in the Buchenstein Formation of Italy.
