Sendaithyris otutumiensis
Taxonomy
Terebratulina (Sendaithyris) otutumiensis was named by Hatai (1940). Its type specimen is IGPS 54082, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Otutumi, Kurokawa-gun (upper beds), which is in a Tortonian marine sandstone in the Otsutsumi Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Sendaithyris.
It was recombined as Sendaithyris otutumiensis by Williams et al. (2006).
