Nipponithyris notoensis

Taxonomy
Nipponithyris notoensis was named by Hatai (1940). Its type specimen is IGPS 54092, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Simazaki, Himi-mati, Toyama, which is in a Gelasian marine sandstone in the Junicho Formation of Japan.
