Taxonomy
Cistellarcula wrigleyi was named by Elliott (1954). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tuilerie de Gan (BMNH collection), which is in a Ypresian offshore shelf marl/claystone in the Marnes de Gan Formation of France. It is the type species of Cistellarcula.
