Taxonomy
Loxoconcha prava was named by Alexander (1934). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Station 8a, Caldwell Ranch, Bastrop Co., TX, which is in a Danian marginal marine claystone in the Kincaid Formation of Texas.
