Oehlerticrinus peachi was named by Donovan and Fearnhead (2017). Its type specimen is BGS GSM 104611 and 104612, a calyx, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Guns East Looe, Cornwall, which is in a Pragian/Emsian marine horizon in the United Kingdom.
