Taxonomy
Ferganoceras constrictum was named by Nikolaeva and Konovalova (2017). Its type specimen is PIN 4920/300, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Verkhnyaya Kardailovka, level 20.8, which is in a Serpukhovian carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
