Nucula conradi was named by Meek (1864). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Acila conradi by Clark (1915); it was recombined as Nucula (Acila) conradi by Etherington (1931); it was recombined as Acila (Truncacila) conradi by Schenck (1936), Keen and Bentson (1944), Moore (1963) and Moore (1983).
