Sederipes goddardensis
Taxonomy
Sederipes goddardensis was named by Stanford et al. (2018). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is GSFC-VP1, m1-m2, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Goddard Space Flight Center, which is in an Aptian mire/swamp sandstone/claystone in the Patuxent Formation of Maryland. It is the type species of Sederipes.
