Taxonomy
Eryma pulchella was named by Carter (1886). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is St Ives brick pit (Thomas George collection), which is in an Oxfordian offshore claystone in the Oxford Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was corrected as Eryma pulchellum by Schweitzer et al. (2010).
