Arca (Eonavicula) bogaerti was named by Dartevelle and Freneix (1957). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kibamba (Loya quarry), Moyen-Congo, which is in a Santonian carbonate limestone in the Congo-Brazzaville.
