Pseudopotamarchus villanuevai
Taxonomy
Pseudopotamarchus villanuevai was named by Kerber et al. (2016). Its type specimen is UFAC 4762, a maxilla (right maxilla with P4–M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cachoeira do Bandeira, which is in a Miocene fluvial-lacustrine claystone/conglomerate in the Solimoes Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Pseudopotamarchus.
