Mummaspis occidens

Taxonomy
Wanneria occidens was named by Walcott (1913). Its type specimen is USNM 60080 and is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Mummaspis.

It was recombined as Esmeraldina occidens by Resser and Howell (1938); it was recombined as Mummaspis occidens by Fritz (1992), Palmer and Repina (1993) and Lieberman (1999).
