Taxonomy
Cleiocrinus lepidotus was named by Cole et al. (2018). It is not extant. Its type specimen is CMCIP 76789, a calyx. Its type locality is Kirkfield Quarry, middle-lower Bobcaygeon, which is in a Katian shallow subtidal wackestone/siltstone in the Bobcaygeon Formation of Canada.
