Flexicalymene vaccarii was named by Waisfeld and Sanchez (1993) [? Flexicalymene vaccarii]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lipeon Formation Trilobites, Sierra de Zapla, which is in a Telychian/Sheinwoodian marine sandstone/siltstone in the Lipeon Formation of Argentina.
