Ibexaspis brevis

Taxonomy
Protopliomerops quattuor brevis was named by Young (1973) [Paratypes: BYU 2086-7.]. Its type specimen is BYU 2085, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type subspecies of Ibexaspis.

It was recombined as Ibexaspis brevis by Pribyl et al. (1985); it was recombined as Protopliomerops brevis by Wagner (2020).
