Rauserella rusakovi was named by Davydov (1996). Its type specimen is CGM 12502/21 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 236, Bezymannaya River, Koryak Region, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
