Taxonomy
Ridersia watsonae was named by Jell et al. (1985). It is not extant. Its type locality is NMVPL1597, Chatsworth homestead, which is in an Iverian marine limestone in the Chatsworth Limestone Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Ridersia.
