Ducula david (Steadman's imperial-pigeon)

Taxonomy
Ducula david was named by Balouet and Olson (1987). Its type specimen is MU 021 A/83 3335, a set of limb elements (tarsometarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Site WF-U-MU 21A, bed VIa, Utuleve, Uvea, which is in a Holocene terrestrial horizon in Wallis and Futuna.
