Elliptocinctus barrandei

Taxonomy
Trochocystites barrandei was named by Munier-Chalmas et al. (1889). It is not extant. Its type locality is La route de Coulouma è Saint-Jean-Minervois, which is in a Cambrian marine shale in the Nivel E Formation of France.

It was recombined as Gyrocystis barrandei by Schroeder (1972) and Schroeder (1973); it was recombined as Elliptocinctus barrandei by Termier and Termier (1973) and Zamora and Alvaro (2010).
