Taxonomy
Clio berglundi was named by Squires (1989). Its type specimen is LACMIP 7973, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP 5843 - Knappton [Lincoln Creek Fm], which is in a Chattian deep-water limestone in the Lincoln Creek Formation of Washington.
