Accipiter quartus
Taxonomy
Accipiter quartus was named by Balouet and Olson (1989). Its type specimen is MNHN NCP 990, a set of limb elements (femur'), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pindai Cave, Nepoui Peninsula, which is in a Holocene cave claystone in New Caledonia.
