Alectroenas payandeei
Taxonomy
Alectroenas payandeei was named by Hume (2011). Its type specimen is FLMR2108, a set of limb elements (right tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Caverne Poule Rouge, Plaine Corail, Rodrigues, which is in a Holocene cave siltstone in Mauritius.
