J. P. O'Gorman 2020Small-bodied elasmosaurid (approximately 3.8 m in maximum length) differring from other elasmosaurid taxa based on the following state combination: coronoid process triangular in shape with a high and pointed dorsal extremity; short symphysis incorporating 2.5 alveolar spaces; cervical centra longer than high with a prominent lateral keel; laterally projecting parapophyses on the caudal vertebrae developed into a conspicuous knob; pelvic bar present; ilium with slightly expanded and laterally compressed distal end; ilium with v-shaped sacral facet restricted to the medial face of the expanded distal extremity and delimited ventrally by a medial knob; humerus with large posterodistal projection supporting an articular facet for a proximal supernumerary ossification; distinct depression present anterior to the main muscle scar on ventral surface of the humerus; humerus/femur length ratio (1.2); femur with a strongly convex capitulum.
