Nochnitsa geminidens
Taxonomy
Nochnitsa geminidens was named by Kammerer and Masyutin (2018). Its type specimen is KPM 310, a partial skeleton (Nearly complete skull and lower jaws with articulated vertebrae, ribs, and partial right forelimb), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kotelnich, Vjatka River ("Sarmin" series), PIN 2212, which is in a Severodvinian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Urpalov Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Nochnitsa.
