Colaptes oceanicus (Bermuda flicker)

Taxonomy
Colaptes oceanicus was named by Olson (2013). Its type specimen is USNM 545286, a set of postcrania (sternum), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Admirals Cave, red talus slope, which is in a Pleistocene cave siliciclastic in Bermuda.
