Caihong juji
Taxonomy
Caihong juji was named by Hu et al. (2018). Its type specimen is PMoL-B00175, a skeleton (a nearly complete skeleton with associated plumage preserved on a slab and counter slab), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gangou, Qinglong, which is in an Oxfordian lacustrine shale in the Tiaojishan Formation of China. It is the type species of Caihong.
