Porphyrio mcnabi
Taxonomy
Porphyrio mcnabi was named by Kirchman and Steadman (2006). Its type specimen is BPBM 166031, a set of limb elements (right femur), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fa'ahia site, Huahine, which is in a Holocene lagoonal sandstone in French Polynesia.
