Coenocorypha neocaledonica (New Caledonian snipe)
Taxonomy
Coenocorypha neocaledonica was named by Worthy et al. (2013). Its type specimen is IANCP.PN/WNP011.PA/1.2003/500, a limb element (left humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pindai Cave A, testpit 3, which is in a Holocene cave horizon in New Caledonia.
