Taxonomy
Palaeoglossa minima was named by Benedetto (2015). Its type specimen is CEGH-UNC 25792, a valve (internal mold of ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cerro La Chilca Section Palaeoglossa–Chilcorthis Association, which is in a Darriwilian deep-water shale/marl in the Los Azules Formation of Argentina.
