Taxonomy
Tantallognathus woodi was named by Chen et al. (2018). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NMS G. 1977.43.3, a mandible. Its type locality is Gin Head, which is in a Tournaisian/Visean fluvial breccia in the Ballagan Formation of the United Kingdom.
