Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria (Entemnotrochus) siletzensis was named by Hickman (1976) [originally described as Pleurotomaria (Entemnotrochus?) siletzensis]. It is extant. Its type specimen is USNM 25079, a shell. Its type locality is USGS 15605 Gravel Creek, which is in an Eocene marine horizon in Oregon.
