Taxonomy
Angusaurus weidenbaumi was named by Kuzmin (1935). It is not extant. Its type locality is Ples River near Kineshma (Vetlugian Series), which is in a Triassic terrestrial horizon in the Vetlugian Series Formation of the Russian Federation.
