Arcuolenellus arcuatus
Taxonomy
Olenellus arcuatus was named by Palmer and Halley (1979). Its type specimen is USNM 177200 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS loc. 3148-CO, Echo Canyon, Funeral Mountains, which is in a Dyeran coastal siltstone/limestone in the Carrara Formation of California. It is the type species of Arcuolenellus.
It was recombined as Arcuolenellus arcuatus by Palmer and Repina (1993).
