Taxonomy
Hemipedina woodwardii was named by Wright (1855). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boulogne-sur-Mer (Cornbrash), which is in a Bathonian/Callovian carbonate limestone in the Cornbrash Formation of France.
