Taxonomy
Hemipedina davidsoni was named by Wright (1855). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Minchinhampton (Wright collection), which is in a Bathonian carbonate limestone in the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Diademopsis davidsoni by Smith (2015).
