Palmettaspis lidensis
Taxonomy
Esmeraldina lidensis was named by Fritz (1995). Its type specimen is USNM 476020, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UNSM "Green" Locality 1f, which is in a Montezuman marine siltstone in the Campito Formation of Nevada.
It was recombined as Palmettaspis lidensis by Lieberman (1999) and Hollingsworth (2006).
