Angarosphex venulosus
Taxonomy
Mataeosphex venulosus was named by Zhang (1985). Its type specimen is Shandong Provincial Museum L85112-1, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Tuanwang, Laiyang City (Shandong Prov. Museum coll.), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Laiyang Formation of China.
It was recombined as Archisphex venulosus by Rasnitsyn and Jarzembowski (1998); it was recombined as Angarosphex venulosus by Zhang et al. (2018) and Jon et al. (2019).
