Ankylosuchus chinlegroupensis
Taxonomy
Ankylosuchus chinlegroupensis was named by Lucas et al. (2013). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NMMNH P-16723, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is NMMNH Locality 3101, which is in a Carnian/Norian terrestrial mudstone in the Colorado City Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Ankylosuchus.
