Taxonomy
Lariosaurus vosseveldensis was named by Klein et al. (2016). It is not extant. Its type specimen is TWE 480000504, a skull. Its type locality is Steengroeve Winterswijk, which is in an Anisian peritidal limestone in the Vossenveld Formation of the Netherlands.
