Taxonomy
Salenidia schlueteri was named by Lambert (1911). Its type specimen is KBIN 9106 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Slenaken (KBIN collection), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate chalk in the Gulpen Formation of the Netherlands.
