Caryocrinites rugatus
Taxonomy
Hemicosmites rugatus was named by Forbes (1848). Its type specimen is BGS GSM and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lower Cresswell Farm, about 3.75 km southeast of Llanddowror, which is in a Cautleyan marine mudstone in the Slade and Redhill Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Caryocrinites rugatus by Lanc et al. (2015).
