Brontopus giganteus
Taxonomy
Brontopus giganteus was named by Heyler and Lessertisseur (1963). It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type locality is La Lieude footprints, Lodève basin, which is in a Lopingian fluvial sandstone in the Salagou Formation of France.
