Taxonomy
Caryocrinites sdzuyi was named by Chauvel and Le Menn (1979). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Peña del Tormo Section, which is in a Katian carbonate limestone/shale in the Cystoid Limestone Formation of Spain.

It was recombined as Juglandocrinus sdzuyi by Lanc et al. (2015).
