Coronocystis durandensis
Taxonomy
Coronocystis durandensis was named by Kolata (1975). Its type specimen is BMNH PK-82 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is quarry of the Medusa Portland Cement, Rock River, Dixon, Lee County, which is in a Blackriveran carbonate limestone in the Grand Detour Formation of illinois.
