Taxonomy
Pseudodiadema hilli was named by Clark (1891). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bell County, which is in a Coniacian/Santonian carbonate chalk in the Austin Chalk Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Cyphosoma hilli by Clark and Twitchell (1915); it was recombined as Phymosoma hilli by Cooke (1953).
