Pygurostoma geometricum

Taxonomy
Clypeaster geometricus was named by Morton (1833). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chesapeake and Delaware Canal (Marshalltown, ANSP), which is in a Campanian marine sandstone in the Marshalltown Formation of Delaware.

It was recombined as Pygurus geometricus by Clark and Twitchell (1915); it was recombined as Pygurostoma geometricum by Cooke (1953).
